Number one DJ Armin van Buuren finished the year 2008 with a bang. With his ‘Armin Only: Imagine’ show on December 31st, in the Los Angeles Sports Arena, he managed to attract 35.000 visitors. Making him the first Dutch DJ to ever draw such a big amount of visitors to his own event.

The Armin Only show had its kick-off in April 2008 in a sold out Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht, where Armin spun a 9 hour DJ set for more than 16.000 party people. The Armin Only event also took place in Poland, Romania, Belgium and twice in Australia. The show in Los Angeles was based on the ‘Imagine’ theme, and was linked to Armin’s third artist album of the same name, that was released April 2008 by his label Armada Music. In Los Angeles 35.000 visitors were treated to a 9 hour show with special performances, a visual show and Armin’s mixing skills.
