New single ‘Unforgivable’ out now, playing Ultra Music Festival and Cameo @ WMC Miami, back to Amnesia Ibiza.

Armin van Buuren chooses his collaborations with great care. After teaming up with singers Chris Jones and Sharon den Adel, it’s now time for vocal lady Jaren to do that in which she’s best: sing. ‘Unforgivable’ is the new single taken from Armin’s ‘Imagine’ artist album. ‘It’s a beat-ballad that captures from the very first note.

Completed with an awesome video, ‘Unforgivable’ was remixed by both First State and Stoneface & Terminal. First State pushed the tempo and gave it a rich sound in two versions, the ‘Rough Mix’ and the ‘Smooth Mix’ while Stoneface & Terminal turned the track into a pure stormer. ‘Unforgivable’ might just be unforgettable.

Armin has been confirmed for the second night at the 2009 Ultra Music Festival, the largest music festival of it's kind in the United States, to be held March 27-28 during Miami's Winter Music Conference. Other major acts that are confirmed for UMF include Markus Schulz, The Prodigy, Moby, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Kraak & Smaak, and Deadmau5. On 28 March Armin takes over legendary Cameo for a special WMC ‘Armin @ Cameo’ performance. He is joined by Germany’s House music phenomenon Jerome Isma-Ae, whose name is synonymous with pristine quality productions and mind blowing sets.

Armin leads his troops back to Amnesia Ibiza for 2009 and will take up its residency again on its usual Tuesday nights. In 2008 ‘Armada’ proved to be one of the top nights in Ibiza and it became a firm favourite for many. New ‘Tuesdays at Amnesia – Armin van Buuren’ opens 7 July and will have its closing party on 15 September. Exclusive to ‘Tuesdays at Amnesia – Armin van Buuren’, the Dutch titan will play a massive 10 weeks out of the 14-week season. He’s joined by fellow heavyweight Markus Schulz and everybody’s favourites Jerome Isma-Ae, Glenn Morrison, Remy and Blake Jarrell. Roger Sanchez will be taking to the helm of Amnesia’s revamped terrace. Moving his weekly ‘Release Yourself’ sessions to Amnesia provides the S-Man with a different perspective on dancefloor dynamics plus a fresh canvas on which to express the passion of the party.

After a year of touring, producing, dj’ing and travelling all around the globe, the hard work is paying off. Armin van Buuren has been nominated for the Beatport Music Awards 2009 in the category ‘Best Trance Artist’! The list of acts up for awards does encompass a large part of music that made a difference in 2008.
