Pressed for time as I am just finishing the copy-editing of our book, we'll give you a scoop. Here's the book cover with the image of The World (300 islands in the shape of the world map off the Dubai coast). It has just been approved by Nakheel; the company in Dubai that is building The World as well as the Palm Islands. This is the first online display of our book cover. You should see it come online on Palgrave and Amazon in the next few days if you search for "place branding" and author names. What do you think?

Wow! Just a pity that the image is not a large one.
I saw Palm Island 1 & 2 in real life from the air by plane. And also on Discovery Channel ofcourse.

I think Dubai is doing well on place branding, for example Dubai Land ;)
When I lived there, I was gone for 2 months and when I came back I didn't recognize a lot of things cause they've build so many new buildings in such a short period.
