Forrester laat medewerkers niet meer (persoonlijk) bloggen

Kees Romkes - Monday 08 February 2010 - 15:29

Hoe IBM social media omarmt

Altijd mooi om een aantal cijfers over het gebruik van sociale media binnen grote organisaties te plaatsen, dit geeft jouw bedrijf misschien inzicht in wat wel kan : How IBM Uses Social Media to Spur Employee Innovation | Social Media Examiner Social Media Stats: * No IBM corporate blog or Twitter account * 17,000 internal blogs * 100,000 employees using [...] Gerelateerde blogs:

Social Media Policy, faciliteer nu !

Kees Romkes - Friday 05 February 2010 - 16:11
Most Companies Don’t Have a Social Media Policy [STUDY] A report by Manpower employer services found that only 29% of companies in the Americas have a “formal policy regarding employee use of social networking sites.” The number is lower in other regions — 25% in Asia-Pacific and 11% EMEA. The worldwide number is 20%. Tsja het wordt [...] Gerelateerde blogs:

Het belang van “unicity”

Kees Romkes - Friday 29 January 2010 - 14:40
Gerelateerde blogs:

Apple tablet, media consumptie revolutie

Kees Romkes - Wednesday 27 January 2010 - 12:50
Gerelateerde blogs:

Talking Semantic (a hinch of what to come in 2010)

Kees Romkes - Friday 18 December 2009 - 12:07 - 240 x read
We're just getting warmed up in the Social Media atmosphere, trend reports showing that "social (dutch)" is the main word in 2010, but we're also closing down. Establishing policies, "firewalling" social activity and firing employees for not being social.
But what's next ? What's my vision on 2010 ? Are we going to form the new "semantic web" ? Are tools finally...

On what twitter list am I ? Generating an RSS feed for you !

Kees Romkes - Monday 16 November 2009 - 16:30 - 258 x read
Another great mashup built on Yahoo! Pipes, using nothing more than a pair of brains and the tools at hand. I already talked about another mashup containing lists, but this is my next little project...
I spotted 2 tweets yesterday in regards to twitter lists, with the following need :
1 - Who's listing me
2 - Can I be removed from a list
Well, need #2 can't be fixed unfortunatly, but there is a way to...

Twitter list RSS feed, now available !

Kees Romkes - Monday 09 November 2009 - 11:16 - 280 x read
Normally it isn't possible to get a feed from the new twitter list functionality (just check out your twitter lists) but thanks to some nice information from Felix Lepoutre and my interest in Yahoo! pipes, we created it and ready to share with you !
Just go to this Yahoo! pipe entry, enter your twitter username and the listname you'd like an RSS feed from and away you go !
Now tell me Kees, why...

[Review] Newsstand, RSS reader for the iPhone

Kees Romkes - Tuesday 27 October 2009 - 16:43 - 299 x read
Somedays you just run into an app that's just as brilliant as beautifull, today I ran into newsstand, an RSS reader for the iPhone.
Something I really miss on my iPhone is a decent news reader, normally I just use the web version of google reader, but a native app is just way smoother and don't forget we also have pincing, landscape reading and swipe actions just right there in the palm of your...

Twitter, $100M invested, but why ?

Kees Romkes - Friday 25 September 2009 - 12:41 - 111 x read
This morning, my favorite RSS reader provided me with this topic on Mashable: "WOW: twitter to raise $100 million in New funding" and I was suprised at first, but somehow it hit me.
Comments are all about "how the f*ck will twitter make money", "how will they ever repay their investors ?" well, it's not about that...
The new economy is not about money, it's about trust....

[Web Review] ReaditLater

Kees Romkes - Tuesday 25 August 2009 - 16:17 - 250 x read
Do you have that problem as well ? Reading a lot on the web and just don't have the time right here and right now to do so ? Readitlater offers the solution !
While I'm a big fan of aggregating content in the early morning and late at night to read something in bed or at a different place, I usually relied on firefox to keep that content safe. After the last crash of firefox and not being able to...
