Half a million women worldwide die annually of pregnancy related complications, 99% of whom live in underdeveloped countries. A Caesarean Section would safe the life of many babies and their mothers.

In rural Africa only between 1 to 10% of the people who need surgery receive this care. The majority of the other patients die.

Many people living in rural areas have no access to basic healthcare. 80% of mortality due to trauma, diseases and birth complications can be treated with the services offered by Hospitainer
