Steven Liemberg Levenskunstenaar The path that took me there.
In the last couple of years I have developed a great interest for multimedia in general. About 5 years ago I started digitally editing video and I just fell in love with the possibilities that this medium had. I went on making amateur productions and learning more along the way. A couple of years after that I started combining video editing with 3d modeling and computer generated graphics expanding in both skill and experience. I wanted to present the stuff I made on a larger medium that I could personalize and so I learned a bit of html and started making a website and later on a more personal blog.
I felt like I had found the thing that I am good at, and more important, the thing I like to do. After I finished my secondary education (HAVO - Culture and Society profile with math as an additional subject) at the H.N. Werkman college in Groningen I went on to my first year attending the Communication & multimedia design course at the NHL in Leeuwarden.
Where I am now.
This has been an interesting year for me. I went from amateur to (semi) professional, and the stuff I do went from hobby to work. Thats why last year Ive been trying to take on a different approach to multimedia. I used to focus on the medium (i.e. the technical stuff: how does it work) but now Im looking more into the communication and the message (i.e. what is it that I'm trying to communicate and how can I get the message across).
Meanwhile I've been working on different projects putting what I learned and thought about multimedia in to practice.
