Based on a Mindz plaza, Bunabumali Chronicle  will be turned into a totaly new approach to empowering the Cheetah generation in Uganda. The goal is to set up a platform similar to the Tribewanted project in Vorovro,

Bunabumali Mindz plaza
will be  used to unite a rag tag team of  multilingual volonteers and sponsors from all corners of the globe into creating a unique social enterprise concept based  on co-creation. It will be a mix between Tribewanted and Katine, created/sponsored by the Guardian.

We welcome all Mindz members to cooperate and share their thoughts, especially the folks allready involved in work in Africa.

The international fans currently use facebook to chat, but that creates a major chaos, so we need to scale up and build our own dedicated platform, obviously with reposting to facebook and other systems.

I have a feeling Bunabumali could become a realy powerfull display of the value of Mindz.  and a great gateway into developing Mindz Africa.

I am looking for media professionals, designers, grantwriters, economists, develoment specialists and people already involved in Africa to turn this one little village with just 2000 people into a model project that will blow the roof of traditional develpment aid projects. It's been done before by Geofry Sacks in Sauri, Kenya

I am doing it without the Worldbank funds Geofry had available! so I can use every bit of suport I can find. Regard this an open invitation to become part of of a potential revolution...

a Mindzlounge meeting will be announced on November 24 2007

More later

The current 21 rooms school building acts as a model of improvement, using crowd-sourcing to fund the latest developments. Back 2007 we discovered Ipuli, an approach to community building that has been a great source of inspiration. Although the final plans for Bunabumali have changed over time, and the terrain in Bunabumali is very different, it’s still this sustainable concept that keeps the dream alive.
